ABOUT TOMMY G & THE EXPERTS
Tommy G & The Experts is an Americana band led by Minnesota songwriter and producer Tom “Tommy G” Gebell. Drawing from outlaw country, heartland rock, blues and roots traditions, the music centers on story-first songwriting—characters, moments, and the choices that shape real lives.
Gebell writes from a lifetime of paying close attention, exploring adulthood as it is often lived: balancing family and work, carrying regret, choosing reinvention, and finding humor along the way. The songs blend hard-earned perspective with warmth, honesty, and a deep appreciation for classic American songwriting.
Following the 2026 release of A Road to Somewhere, Tommy G & The Experts have begun introducing songs from the next chapter of the project, including “Lyin'' to Myself” and “Been Accused,” leading toward the next album, Rusty Rail Saloon. The music is brought to life by a rotating cast of trusted collaborators known as “The Experts,” whose experience and musicianship keep the focus on the songs.
